Traffic Lights

We have added brand new dual solar trailer-mounted portable traffic light units to our growing fleet of traffic safety hire equipment. Manufactured in Germany, these highly reliable and robust units are NZTA approved, quick to setup and programme and represent the latest technology in this field.

These units are extremely easy to setup as all units are interchangeable with no need for a matched “master/slave” pair. Programming is done via an easy-to-handle terminal, equipped with 4 touch keys and LCD screen and includes the most common programmes for 2-phase, junction and crossroads already pre-set.

These traffic lights can be setup to operate either as radio-linked, cable-linked or timer-mode and the use of radar also enables the system to work traffic-actuated. Up to 8 signal heads can be grouped in order to work as 2 phase, junction or crossroads systems.

The units are solar-charging with hydraulic mast lifting system allowing one person to setup the units. Additional features include 4 frequencies & automatic frequency selection, as well as automatic calculation of red/green times by setting distance km/h.
